Club America’s 4-1 win vs. Chivas Guadalajara loaded with controversies

Gomez gives his take on the injury to America’s Giovani dos Santos who was sent to the hospital following a red card challenge by Antonio Briseño of Chivas. Gomez then reflects on the resulting altercation between America goalkeeper Guillermo “Memo” Ochoa and Briseño, in which Ochoa allegedly spit on the Chivas defender. Gomez says that lost in all of the controversy was the performance by America’s Sebastian Cordova who scored two goals in a man-of-the-match performance for the 13-time league champions.
